Vancouver Island Women’s Clinic

Advocating for reproductive healthcare.

Vancouver Island Women’s Clinic offers a range of specialized services tailored to meet the unique healthcare needs and experiences of our patients.

We are an inclusive clinic with a focused clinical scope that are available to patients of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Our facility is accredited by the Diagnostic Accreditation Program of the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons and the National Abortion Federation.

Our physicians are specially trained to offer early pregnancy ultrasounds, Rh testing, IUD insertions along with other skills to support their work in abortion and the management of early pregnancy loss.  They maintain annual educational competency in those areas, and participate in training and researching reproductive health.

For your comfort, you are welcome to bring a support person to attend your appointment with you, or a member of our staff would be happy to join you in the examination room.

COVID-19 Protocols

Please continue to call the clinic to book your appointment.

The process for all services is:

  1. participate in a pre-booked telehealth consultation with a physician or nurse

  2. attend your pre-booked in-person clinic visit with a physician

It is essential to have the phone consultation prior to your booked appointments so we can complete COVID-19 symptom screening.

COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN

  • Medical masks are recommended when attending the clinic visit.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available in the waiting room and throughout the facility.

Exam rooms are always cleaned and disinfected between each patient. In the effort to keep the staff and patients safe during this time, we are following all public health guidelines.

Thank you for your understanding.
